Alu-Table
Like most of our products, the Alu-Table is built almost entirely from aluminium. The bonus of this, is it keeps the weight down but as usual still offers the strength.
Built from a strong aluminium frame with legs that jump into position via gas struts it almost eliminates the effort to set up. The tabletop is made from rigidised aluminium that helps to prevent scratching.
Our table is set at the ideal height, so one can stand around the table and sit comfortable around it with the Front Runner chairs.
The table can be stored away easily accessible with the:

- Roof Rack tray with table bracket

Alu-Cab Drawer Systems
Being properly organised when gearing up for adventure is probably first on the agenda before one heads-out into the bush.
Using our drawer system gives you the ability pack your supplies neatly in place for easy access. What makes the drawer such a great product for a truck, is that when you need to find your gear or quickly get something its right there. The loose carpet can come out of the drawer and be hosed off if necessary.
Combined with the Alu-Cab Tilting fridge slide. Overlanding has never been easier.
There are a number of points to consider when choosing the right drawer system. If you are not really familiar with what to look out for you can easily choose the wrong product for your needs.
Here are some pointers that one should consider or know when looking for a drawer for your vehicle.
- Consider the type of drawer runners being used. This is of high importance. Alu-cab uses heavy duty solid sealed stainless steel bearings for its drawers. What makes this bearing design great is its ability to withstand weight, dust, water and the rigors of constant corrugations in the off-road environment.
- Consider what materials are being used for the draw. Our drawers are built from Aluminium. This makes our drawer system one of the lightest and most durable drawers on the market.
- Look at the finish on top of the drawer system. Alu-cab uses a commercial waterproof ply. This ply is covered with a nylon carpet. The carpet is important as it protects the top and also assists with longevity of the product. This also allows one to pack on top of it.
- The carpet lining in the bottom of the drawer is only loosely laid in position in the drawer. Our reason for this is that should something break open inside the drawer during your travels. Cleaning is nice and simple. The drawer can be easily released from its housing by releasing some locking pins.
- The loose carpet can come out of the drawer and be hosed off if necessary.
- The strengthening bend in the top of the drawer is bent out. What this does is, it allows for extra packing space as the bent lip does not interfere with the inside of the drawer.
- Our drawers are designed in such a fashion that you can fit a wolfpack ammo box inside with the lid on. Useful when trying to keep out dust or have your gear packed in boxes.
- A standard cooldrink or beer can, of 330 mm can pack one on top of the other in the drawer. Sounds like a small feature but actually it amounts to a lot when packing for those long adventures and are trying to make your space work for you as best as possible.
- The deck on top of the drawer system is made from a 12 mm ply wood. This ply is very strong and allows us to load a large amount of gear and weight on top of it. Especially when fitting your fridge in this position. It can normally bolt right through the top.
- The closing latches are self-latching stainless steel latches so one just pushes the drawer to close. They are strong latches that can be locked for securing your gear in the drawer.
- Our drawers are available in varying lengths and sizes to work for most vehicles. We have full decks that cover most of the rear of the load bin creating storage hatches to the side of the drawers.
Load Bars
Alu-Cab offers its own load bars for the overlander. Available in a matt black and silver finish they are specifically engineered and extruded to work alongside our Alu-Cab products. They are incredibly strong and boast a unique bolt slot pattern which makes our load bars unique to others on the market. They offer 3 points on the bar where you can slide an 8 mm bolt or nut into. This opens up a number of opportunities to be able attach products to the bar with added strength.
They can be used to mount your Alu-Cab Rooftop Tent onto your vehicle roof or Canopy. Alternatively, you can use them to mount additional accessories to your RTT or Camper.
Alu-Cab load bars are a modular accessory which then allows you to add additional products to your adventure vehicle. Such as:

For a standing weight, 200kg’s would be considered safe. Please do take into account the load capacity of your vehicle as well.

TILTING FRIDGE SLIDES
Alu-Cab’s Tilting Fridge Slide operates as a straight pull-out slide, and it has the option to tilt. This means you have the advantage of a fridge slide that runs on stainless steel runners with sealed stainless-steel bearings. This product offers maximum strength with the ability to carry greater loads, with greater resistance to dust and harsh off-road conditions.
With double-locking pins, it is secured firmly in place when locked in position – with no risk of the fridge slide breaking free when the road gets rough. Includes stainless pin locating bush, added to the front of the slide to prevent any rattling. The base has slots to allow for strapping down a fridge securely.
Choose from 4 different sizes that are suitable to most fridges.
The fridge slide allows easier access when the fridge is positioned at height. It also helps to clear the canopy or back doors when there isn’t space to open the lid. Built from both Stainless Steel and Aluminium, this tilting fridge slide offers good strength without adding excessive weight.

Alu-Cab offers one of the best and strongest load bars on the market, with a really unique T-Slot feature. This allows us to also mount products from the side of the load bar which is just how the roof rack tray with table bracket is mounted. The tray has slots where you can use racket straps to fasten your gear.
The Roof Rack Tray is an Aluminium tray, bent to fit between the Alu-Cab load bars. This tray, once bolted into place, can handle up to 100 kg’s. The tray is so slim that you don’t even notice it’s there as it sits below the line of the load bar and adds no wind drag.
If the tray is mounted to load bars on-top of your tent it’s easy to add some extra gear when needed. The same applies if you mount the tray to the roof of a vehicle (via our load bars), a canopy or any place that you can add the Alu-Cab load bars. It is a simple but effective product, useful at any given time.
The tray can also easily carry three Ammo boxes, with space to spare. Or alternatively it can hold three Jerry Can Holders.

A key feature to owning an Alu-Cab product, is the advantage of adding accessories. One of the most useful accessories for the Overlander is cupboards. We offer these to you equipped, or as an empty aluminium cupboard, ready to be personalised and equipped. What makes a cupboard such a useful product, is that it utilises space so well that one could not normally even use easily.
This bolt-on aluminium box adds another level of functionality to your canopy. Allowing you to access a useful amount of storage space without having to reach inside the load bay and canopy. It’s a great place to store your commonly required tools or gear.

What makes our canopy cupboards a great addition to your canopy is that you are utilising the area of the canopy that is normally wasted or most likely a jumbled mess of packing space.
